About This Facility

SVGOI Campus is provided with Air Conditioned spacious Group Discussion Room (GD Room) equipped with the latest audio visual facilities for Group work, Factual Topics, Controversial Topics, Abstract Topics, Case-Studies, Debate, Role play, Seminar preparation, Ask the expert, Peer feedback, presentations, symposia, and various other academic activities. The group normally consists of pre-screened students at the time of placements screening process and during the contest regarding group discussion conducted in the concerned department. The GD Hall is equipped with facilities such as LED monitors, speakers for the best of sound reproduction and PCs, these rooms are ideal for collaborative study, Group Discussions and presentation preparation. The GD room is located in the Administrative Block on the ground floor and is made available for group viewing to multi-media resources. The room is equipped with 42? LED TV, Blue-ray disc player (compatible with DVD, VCD and Audio CD) and comfortable sofa, chairs and tables. The hall is also well equipped with permanent Audio, Video and Projection System. External experts and the placement teams on various latest topics are regularly invited to deliver lectures to our students. Thus our students are exposed and groomed up with the recent Technology/Trend. GD Hall is very spacious with comfortable seating arrangement and has the seating capacity of 50- 60 members where the interactive sessions are taken up by the External HR & Placement teams from various MNC’s, management, faculty, staff & students. The hall has been witness to the presence of some senior role models from Top MNc’s, industries, Universities and academicians.
